“Victorian Dress-Up Party”
2 hours (Just for "Little Ladies" Ages 5 - 11)

Every little girl loves to play dress up, pretending she is the Belle of the Ball, Princess or Ballerina. We love to watch as these “Little Ladies” make-believe they are all grown up and ready to step out into Society. Our Theme Tea Parties are an excellent way to celebrate their lives, to teach them Tea Time Etiquette and to create lasting memories for them as well as for you.

Dressing up in a Victorian style dress, hand sewn by the owner of the Tea Room, will help each “Little Lady” step back into the Victorian age in fine fashion and flair, creating a memorable moment in time to be cherished throughout her life. Fancy hats and beads help to make the dress-up experience complete, complimented further by a bit of blush to the cheeks. We create a unique atmosphere where these special memories can be formed and tucked away safely for many years to come.

The Party favor Purses include a hankie, etiquette card, lip gloss and other suitable favors for a truly wonderful day. Favors may vary based on availability.

Each Young Woman comes dressed for a fine social event and is gently guided through:

  • Being seated by a gentleman
  • Walking on a gentleman’s arm
  • Social and Business handshakes
  •  Public eye contact
  • Safety
  • Standard issues of etiquette

To further make this special event a day/evening to remember, a handsome Young Man will help the Tea Room owner to instruct the Young Ladies in these areas. Guests will not only enjoy a traditional High Tea, but will go away having a better understanding of the Social World and Graces befitting a Lady of the 21st Century with the class and elegance of the Victorian Era as well.

Party Minimum: 8 Adults

Impress your friends and loved ones by inviting them to a unique and fun Mystery Tea Party. With your paid reservation you will receive Hostess Instructions, invitations, costume suggestions, name tags and a story outline. Every guest has a role to play, a unique and humorous identity, and a script to follow, which they will review at the start of the party. Share lots of laughs along the way as the mystery is solved, all while enjoying a Specialty High Tea. The stories are written for 8 guests, but additional guests can watch and be entertained in a most novel way as well.
